Entartete Dancer

In January 2011 construction workers of the Berlin metro found a bronze sculpture in the grounds near the Berlin city hall. The bronze sculpture is identified as “Tanzerin” by German sculptor Marg Moll.

The sculpture was last displayed at the 1937 Entartete Kunst exhibition in Munchen. After that the sculpture disappeared from the public domain, unknown where to. Now, the sculpture is displayed in the archeological section of the Neues Museum in Berlin.

Together with Tanzerin, ten other sculptures were discovered in surrounding grounds of the city hall.
