I am honored by the decision of the Teylers Theological Society, to award my essay collection In Pursuit of the Sacred: The Museum as Laboratory in the Contemporary Quest for God a gold medal.
I wrote this essay collection in response to the academic competition launched by Prof. Marcel Barnard, member of the Teylers Theological Society. On behalf of the society, he requested a research on the museum as contemporary sacred site.
The prize wlll be awarded on Friday, 16 March, in the beautiful historic building of the Teylers Museum in Haarlem.
